- Manage internal teams and suppliers on the identification, selection, and deployment of tooling and manufacturing equipment.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance, efficiency, and effectiveness of established processes and procedures by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Mange and Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials, conferring with equipment vendors, soliciting observations from operators.
- Identify, root cause analysis, track bottlenecks and work with CAM/CAD Engineer on necessary process changes throughout the production.
- Development of complex multi-layer PCB’s utilizing Frontline Genesis, CAM350 software.
- Establish test methods, perform evaluations, and analyze results to assess existing and future technologies, products, and services. Implement various problem-solving methodologies such as Fishbone diagram, Kanban, 5 WHY’s, Ishikawa as a part of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Implement, verify, and validate manufacturing processes to meet various regulatory requirements (ISO 9001:2000) using advanced quality planning methods.
- Maintain positive, cooperative communications, and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
EDUCATION: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related.
EXPERIENCE: 1 year of experience as Mechanical Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or related.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: 1 year experience in Lean Manufacturing, Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) principles, 3D CAD modeling software, Micro and Nano Manufacturing, SolidWorks, AutoCAD.
